"We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at the cottage at Higher Kellacott Cottage. Our time there was a highlight of our trip to England. The location was gorgeous. Georgina and David were warm and friendly - the perfect hosts. We were lucky to arrive during lambing season and had the opportunity to hold one of the lambs and meet her family! The cottage was sparkling clean with every convenience. Georgina offers, for a fee, her homemade food and we happily partook of her croissants and vegetarian cottage pie. Georgina and David gave us wonderful advice about Dartmoor and we explored the moor and the Cornwall coast. We would love to go back to Higher Kellacott." Charles and Karen, USA. May 2024.
"Such a relaxing and wholesome few days. The cooking facilities really made it a special time, home away from home. We were welcomed and greeted by David and Georgina, who were absolutely lovely. Super special watching the little lambs every morning from the balcony. The Old Barn truly is a special place. Very welcoming and well detailed throughout. Made the perfect escape. Thank you so much, we look forward to returning." Chelsea & Rosie. Lincolnshire. April 2024.

Thany you again for such a lovely stay!" Chrissy & Ben. Berkshire. February 2024.

Make no mistake, we will most definitely recommend a stay at Higher Kellacott Cottage to anyone travelling to your neck of the woods. Thanks again.” Rob & Maria, The Wirrel. Summer 2021.

"An absolutely beautiful place to stay - The Old Barn is equipped with everything you need and more! Georgina and David have been the most welcoming hosts, where nothing it too much trouble. We really enjoyed this part of the country and our stay has been made extra special by returning to the stunning views from the balcony - sharing them with the sheep, geese and chickens! "Thank you for a lovely holiday home, it's absolutely gorgeous! We love the upper decking and the view of the sheep, hens and geese; it's great to watch them in the mornings when we wake up! It was equipped with everything you could possibly need, thank you for helping me beforehand with questions I had and thank you for the coffee too! The Cottage
"Georgina's cottage is stylish, beautifully decorated and equipped with the latest gadgets. There is also a lovely patio and garden for the guests' exclusive use, and these are great places to watch the sunset over Bodmin Moor. Being in the country you can enjoy a breathtaking starfield on a clear night, and the sunrises over Dartmoor are stunning. Georgina herself is an excellent hostess, keen to ensure everything is just perfect for your stay, but at the same time making sure your peace and quiet isn't disturbed. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait for our next visit!" Dave & Wendy. Summer 2018

"What can I say - Sparkling clean accommodation and very well located for visiting Devon and Cornwall. The cottage had everything we needed and more with extra touches here and there. Fresh flowers and fruit and Georgina was on hand to check us in and show us around. Beautiful surroundings with amazing views and a great nights sleep thanks to the huge bed and very comfortable mattress. Everything is so well thought out and fixtures and fittings are top notch.
